eFiction: mOving oN uP

May 25, 2011

So it’s been just about 2 weeks since my last eFiction update and I thought I’d give some good news. Our subscriptions continue to rise: we’re currently at 181, up 18 subscriptions since May 10. Not too bad, honestly. While it’s less than 1 new subscription per day, it’s been 3 weeks since the new issue was released. At this point, most printed magazines are being stripped of covers and sent back to the publishers.

NOTE: Stores receive credit for magazines not sold. Or at least Barnes & Noble did when I worked there.

So, the fact that we continue to build our readership even in the off weeks is excellent news and very exciting. And don’t forget! The June 2011 issue will be out in one week’s time at Amazon’s Kindle site, so if you haven’t, please take a look at our site and then pick up a digital subscription to one of the best new independent literary magazines.

Onward!
